About Sam

Sam was born in Brooklyn and caught the acting bug early — cast at age five as Jiminy Cricket, narrator of his first-grade production of Turkey Lurkey.

Encouraged by his parents to pursue his dream, he attended Brooklyn's Academy of Arts at Erasmus Hall High School majoring in drama, earning his SAG-AFTRA card booking commercials. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Theater, with a minor in Art History, from Syracuse University, and has since worked Off-Broadway, in regional theater from Yale Rep to the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, and in film and television for 20th Century Fox, NBC, and FOX.

"Theater remains my first love. The camera keeps calling anyway."

He has participated in play readings and workshops at The Actors Studio, New York Stage Film and Sound, Around The Block, and The Women's Project, to name a few.
